  • Warping — because resin cures rather than solidifying instantly, thin parts can occasionally arrive slightly bent. A dip in warm (not boiling) water followed by careful straightening as it cools usually fixes this.
  • Dust safety — always wet-sand resin or sand it wet-wiped rather than dry, and avoid breathing in the dust. This is standard practice for any resin hobbyist and worth building into your routine from the start.
  • Washing before priming — a quick wash in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap removes mold-release residue so primer and paint adhere properly.

    Assembly and Gluing

    Plastic kits usually go together with plastic cement, which chemically welds the parts together.
