About This Kit

This 1/35 scale resin kit depicts the Soviet 9K72 Elbrus ballistic missile system, widely known in the West as the Scud-B, mounted on its MAZ-543 eight-wheeled transporter-erector-launcher (TEL). The model captures the characteristic elongated missile body with its distinctive red nose cone, presented in a raised, ready-to-fire position atop the heavy-duty MAZ chassis. The camouflage finish features a realistic three-color Soviet pattern in olive drab, tan, and rust tones, typical of Cold War-era Soviet military vehicles.

The resin casting exhibits fine detail throughout, from the ribbed missile fuselage to the operational equipment mounted on the vehicle's frame. Painting & Assembly

This kit arrives unassembled and unpainted, giving you complete creative freedom. We recommend using cyanoacrylate (super glue) for resin assembly. Clean parts with warm soapy water before priming. Use a quality resin primer before painting with acrylics or enamels. Pin larger joints for a stronger bond.
